hajar, pregnant out of wedlock, is sent by her husband, arshad to a midwife specialising in taking care of the birth and also making the “problem” disappear for the parents. mak ju fulfils a void that has been in hajar’s heart but unknown to hajar, mak ju starts to poison her with a substance that causes her own fears and past to haunt her. hajar doesn’t realise behind the sweet demeanour lies a deadly woman, out to resurrect her own dead child whom she lost due to her own father’s inability to accept a child of out wedlock. mak ju has called upon the spirit of her dead baby and is looking for the perfect vessel which she finds in hajar’s unborn child – a boy, with a cleft lip, just like her dead baby. the spirit has other intentions, not being the spirit of her dead baby but an evil entity waiting for the perfect vessel to be the devil’s heir!
